    Characteristic
    Leaves of eucalyptus contain essential oil (cineole, pinene, etc.), tannins and other biologically active substances
    Description:Pieces of leaves of various shapes passing through a sieve with holes 5 mm in size. Color from light green to greyish-green, sometimes with a purple hue. The smell is fragrant, intensifying when rubbed. The taste of water extract is spicy.

    Pharmacodynamics:Infusion of eucalyptus leaves has an antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory effect.
    Indications:In the complex therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the pharynx and upper respiratory tract (pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis).
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the drug. For inhalations - bronchial asthma, bronchospasm, whooping cough; children under 12 years.
    Pregnancy and lactation:Application during pregnancy and during lactation is possible if the expected benefit for the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby. It is necessary to consult a doctor.
    Dosing and Administration:About 10 g (2 tablespoons) of raw materials are placed in enameled dishes, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water,close the lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 10 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is brought to boiling water to 200 ml.
    Apply topically: for rinses use 3 -4 times a day; for inhalations - 2 times a day. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.
