    Pharmacodynamics:

    Neutralizes excess hydrochloric acid in the stomach, has an enveloping and adsorbing effect. Prevents the influence of aggressive factors on the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum. Does not cause secondary hypersecretion.

    Indications:
    • acute gastritis, chronic gastritis with increased and normal secretory function in the exacerbation phase;
    • acute duodenitis;
    • peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the phase of exacerbation; hernia of the esophageal opening of the diaphragm, reflux esophagitis;
    • discomfort or pain in epigastrium, heartburn, acidic eructations after excessive consumption of alcohol, nicotine, coffee, medication, inaccuracies in the diet.
    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, severe renal dysfunction, pregnancy, lactation, children under 10 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside, one tablet 3-6 times a day 1 hour after eating. Tablets should be chewed or rasasyvat.

    With occasional use (for example, with discomfort after errors in the diet) take 1 tablet once.

    Side effects:

    Rarely - allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, changes in taste. With prolonged use of the drug in high doses, it is possible to develop hypermagnesia, hypophosphatemia, hypocalcemia, hypercalciuria, osteomalacia, osteoporosis, hyperaluminia, encephalopathy, nephrocalcinosis, renal failure.

    Interaction:When using Gelusil Luck together with citrus juices (especially grapefruit), the probability of hypermagnesemia increases. Reduces the absorption of indomethacin, salicylates, chlorpromazine, phenytoin, blockers H2-gistaminovyh receptors, beta-adrenoblokatorov, diflunizala, isoniazid, tetracycline antibiotics, iron preparations, chenodeoxycholic acid, indirect anticoagulants,barbiturates. Anticholinergic drugs increase and prolong the action, slowing the emptying of the stomach.
    Special instructions:

    Patients with impaired renal function should regularly monitor the content of magnesium, calcium, aluminum, phosphorus in the blood and avoid prolonged use of the drug in high doses. The interval between taking Gelusil Lac and other drugs should be at least 2 hours.

    With diabetes or allergies to milk proteins, it is preferable to use a dosage form that does not contain powdered milk and sugar.

    Tablets 500 mg.

    Packaging:10 tablets per blister of PVC/ AL, 4 blisters together with instructions for use in a pack of cardboard.
