    Pharmacodynamics:

Combination drug for topical application in ophthalmology. Has anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial action.

    Gentamicin

Antibiotic from the group of aminoglycosides. It binds to the 30S subunit of the ribosome of the bacterial cell and disrupts the movement of the ribosome along the RNA strands. It also changes the processes of reading the code of the RhK, which leads to the synthesis of functionally inactive proteins. Is able to disrupt the permeability of the cytoplasmic membrane of microorganisms. Has a bactericidal action type in a relationship Neisseria gonorrhoeae, including strains producing penicillinase.

    Dexamethasone

Has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, anti-allergic, decongestant and vasoconstrictive. It prevents the accumulation of neutrophils on the skin, reducing inflammatory exudate and production of lymphokines, inhibits the migration of macrophages, reduces the processes of infiltration and granulation.

By inhibiting the activity of phospholipase A2 and reducing the release of arachidonic acid from the phospholipids of cell membranes, the production of leukotrienes andprostaglandins. Reduces the main substance of the connective tissue, weakening the exudative and proliferative processes in the skin. Inhibits cellular kinins, which have proteolytic activity.

    Pharmacokinetics:

Means for topical application, practically not absorbed into the bloodstream and does not have a systemic effect.

    Indications:

It is used to treat infections of the anterior chamber of the eye: conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis, meibomite (barley); with allergic eye diseases with bacterial superinfections. Used for the prevention and treatment of inflammatory complications after operations in ophthalmology.
