Composition:

* Primrose of spring roots extract liquid (1: 2- 4,6) 1.03 g
** Thyme ordinary herb extract liquid (1: 3,3) 2.06 g
Excipients:
Levomenthol, methylparahydroxybenzoate (E218), sucrose
* Primrose of spring roots extract liquid (1: 2- 4,6) is prepared from:
Primrose root (Primula veris L., f. Primulaceae), purified water (extractant) Ratio 1: 2 - 4,6 corresponds to the ratio of medicinal plant material: extract; (an average of 1 part of the plant raw material yields 3.3 parts of the extract).
** Thyme ordinary herb extract liquid (1: 3,3) is made from:
Thyme grass (Thymus vulgaris L., f. Lamiaceae), purified water (extractant) Ratio 1: 3,3 corresponds to the ratio of medicinal plant material: extract; (from 1 part of the plant raw material, 3.3 parts of the extract are obtained).
Description:

Brown syrup with a specific smell. Opalescence is allowed.

Pharmacotherapeutic group:Expectorant of plant origin
Pharmacodynamics:

The drug has expectorant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial effect; helps to reduce the viscosity of sputum and its better separation.

Indications:

The drug is used as an expectorant in the complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by a cough with hard-to-separate sputum (including bronchitis, tracheitis, tracheobronchitis).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, as well as to preparations containing active ingredients of the family primroses and family clearing; children after acute obstructive laryngitis (cereus); bronchial asthma, diabetes mellitus; hereditary intolerance to fructose; syndrome of glucose-galactose malabsorption and congenital insufficiency of sucrose-isomaltase; children's age up to 2 years.

Pregnancy and lactation:Pregnant and lactating women to take the drug is not recommended (due to the lack of data on the safety of the drug in this group of patients).
Dosing and Administration:

Inside, it is recommended to take the drug with a sufficient amount of warm water.

Shake before use!

Adults should take 3 scoops (1 scoop - 5 ml) 3-4 times a day after meals.

Children aged 2 to 5 years - 1/2 teaspoon 3 times a day after meals. Children aged 5 to 14 years - 1 scoop (5 ml) syrup 3 times a day after meals.

Children over 14 years - 2 measuring spoons (10 ml) syrup 3-4 times a day.The duration of the course of therapy is 2-3 weeks. Increasing the duration or holding a repeat course of treatment is possible after consulting a doctor.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible. Possible in very rare cases: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. In case of side effects, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor.

Overdose:

Reports of cases of drug overdose have not been reported.

In the case of an overdose of saponin-containing drugs, gastrointestinal disorders may occur, manifested by nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

Treatment: symptomatic.

Interaction:Herbion ® syrup primrose should not be used simultaneously with anti-burn products and drugs that reduce the formation of sputum, as this makes it difficult to cough thinners sputum.
Special instructions:

In 1 scoop of syrup (5 ml) contains 3.16 g sucrose. If the recommendations for the use of the drug specified in the instructions are observed, the patient receives 3.16 g (1 measuring spoon - 5 ml, which corresponds to 0,316 bread units) to 9.48 g (3 measuring spoons - 15 ml, which corresponds to 0,948 bread units) of sucrose.

Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf.and fur:Herbion ® syrup solution does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and work with other complex technical devices that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.
Form release / dosage:

Syrup.

Packaging:For 150 ml of syrup in a bottle of dark glass (type III), sealed with a plastic stopper with a dissector of liquid and a plastic lid with the control of the first opening.

1 the vial is placed in a cardboard box together with a dispensing plastic spoon and instructions for use.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature not higher than 25 ° C, in the original packaging. Do not store in the refrigerator. Keep out of the reach of children.

Shelf life:

3 years. Do not use the drug after the expiration date.
