Pharmacodynamics:Ethadan-8- (2-hydroxyethyl) -aminoadenine hydrobromide monohydrate.
Purine derivative, stimulator of reparative cell regeneration. The mechanism of action is associated with the activation of the synthesis of nucleic acids. Accelerates the reparative processes, primarily in the rapidly renewing tissues (epithelial and hematopoietic).
Reduces swelling, pain, increases visual acuity. It promotes the regeneration of corneal defects, the formation of the scar and the restoration of the smooth spherical surface of the cornea.
Pharmacokinetics:No data.
Indications:Stimulation of the regeneration of the corneal epithelium with various eye lesions, accompanied by a violation of the integrity of its epithelium:
- epitheliopathy after infectious and inflammatory diseases;
- a syndrome of "dry eyes" (in combination with preparations of artificial tears);
- Bullous keratopathy;
- initial epithelial-endothelial dystrophy;
- epithelial defects after ophthalmic operations (cataract removal, surgical treatment of glaucoma);
- postoperative descemetites;
- recurrent erosion;
- Ulcers of bacterial, fungal and herpetic etiology (as part of combination therapy);
- burns;
- keratitis with ulceration and lesion of superficial layers of the cornea.

Contraindications:Hypersensitivity.
Pregnancy and lactation:Consult with your doctor before use during pregnancy and lactation.
Dosing and Administration:Locally, in the form of instillations in the conjunctival sac - 2-3 drops 3 times a day. Depending on the etiology of the process and the severity of organ damage, local administration of other specific and symptomatic drugs is possible in parallel. The duration of treatment depends on the course of the disease and should not exceed 10 days. The absence of a curative effect when the drug is used for 10 days indicates the need for other methods of treatment.
Side effects:Allergic reactions (fever, itching, skin rashes); systemic effects: dyspeptic phenomena, tachycardia.
Special instructions:Freezing of the solution is not allowed.
