    Composition:

    Ginkgo bilobate leaves.

    Description:

    The powder consists of pieces of leathery leaves of various shapes passing through a sieve with holes 2 mm in size. Powder color from greyish-green to yellowish-brown, or brown shade with yellowish or brownish impregnations. The smell is weak. The taste of water extract is bitterish.

    N.06.D.X.02   Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract

    Pharmacodynamics:

    The drug improves cerebral and peripheral blood circulation, helps reduce the permeability of the vascular wall, increases the body's resistance to hypoxia, especially brain tissue, improves the rheological properties of the blood.

    Indications:The drug is administered as part of complex therapy patients with discirculatory encephalopathy, including elderly patients, accompanied by: attention and / or memory disorder, dizziness, tinnitus, sleep disturbance.It is also prescribed as part of complex therapy in cases of circulatory disorders of the lower extremities.
    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, low blood coagulability, erosive gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum during acute period, acute disorders of cerebral circulation, acute myocardial infarction, pregnancy, lactation period, children's age (under 18 years).

    Dosing and Administration:

    1 filter bag (2g) is placed in a glass or enamel ware, poured into 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover with a lid and insist for 10 min. Then the filter package is squeezed and the volume of the infusion is adjusted to 100 ml. Take inside 100 ml 3 times a day after meals. The course of treatment is 25 - 30 days. An increase in the duration and conduct of repeated courses of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:

    Possible allergic skin reactions (redness, skin rash, swelling, itching), gastrointestinal disorders (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), headache, decreased blood coagulation, hearing impairment, dizziness, insomnia.In case of occurrence of any undesirable phenomena, reception of a preparation should be stopped and address to the attending physician.

    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose are not described.

    Interaction:

    The drug should not be taken to patients who are systematically taking acetylsalicylic acid, warfarin, thiazide diuretics, tricyclic antidepressants, anticonvulsants, gentamicin.

    Special instructions:

    - In case of sudden deterioration or loss of hearing, immediately consult a doctor.
