Description:

  • Pharmacodynamics:

    Combined antiseptic preparation for topical application in the oral cavity and pharynx. Has antimicrobial effect. Relieves pain and relieves irritation in the throat. It is active against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Due to low systemic absorption, there is no data on the pharmacokinetics of HORPILS®.

    Indications:

    Treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mouth and pharynx (pain when swallowing).

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

    Children's age (up to 5 years).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    In pregnancy and during lactation apply only if the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Adults: every 2 hours, rassasyvat (until completely dissolved) for 1 lozenge. The maximum daily dose is 8 troches.

    Children from the age of 5: 1 lozenge every 4 hours.

    Side effects:Allergic reactions.
    Overdose:

    It is unlikely that a possible overdose can lead to symptoms of gastrointestinal discomfort (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea).

    The drug can be used for people with diabetes, it should be borne in mind that each GORPILS® lozenge contains 2.6 g of glucose and sucrose (corresponding to 0.25 bread units).
