    Pharmacodynamics:

    It is a combined preparation.

    Gramicidin C has an antimicrobial effect against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms - causative agents of infectious diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx. The mechanism of action is associated with an increase in the permeability of the membrane of the microbial cell, which violates its stability and causes death. With resorption increases salivation, facilitating the purification of the oropharynx from microorganisms and inflammatory exudate.

    Lidocaine has a local anesthetic effect, manifested directly at the moment of resolution and lasting for 30-40 minutes.

    Menthol and eucalyptus oil reduce discomfort, inflammation and facilitate ingestion of food in diseases of the oral cavity and throat. Menthol additionally enhances the local anesthetic effect of lidocaine.

    No pharmacokinetics studies have been performed.

    Indications:

    Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and throat, accompanied by severe pain syndrome: acute pharyngitis; tonsillitis; angina; periodontitis; gingivitis; stomatitis.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity; lactation period; children's age (up to 3 years).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Contra-indication is the period of lactation. Use with pregnancy with caution. According to the indications and appointment of a doctor.

    Dosing and Administration:

    The tablet is absorbed in the mouth until completely dissolved, without chewing, after eating. Immediately after using the drug should refrain from eating food and drink for 1-2 hours.

    The dose for children over 12 years and of adults - 2 tab. (one after another for 20-30 min) 4 times / day; for children 3-12 years old - 1-2 tablets. 4 times / day. The course of treatment is 5-6 days.

    Side effects:

    Temporary anesthesia of the tongue. Allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Gastrointestinal disorders. Treatment is symptomatic.

    Interaction:

    Strengthens the effects of other antimicrobial agents of local and systemic action.

    Special instructions:

    Does not contain sugar; can be used in patients with contraindications or restrictions in the intake of sugar and sugar-containing drugs.
