Pharmacodynamics:The fruits of the common viburnum contain vitamins C and K, have a general tonic, diaphoretic effect, have spasmolytic, hypotensive, hypolipidemic and diuretic effects.
Pharmacokinetics:Not studied.
Indications:Acute respiratory viral infections, colds, the period of reconvalescence - as part of complex therapy.

Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to Kalina or other plants of the family of honeysuckle (Caprifoliaceae), pregnancy, breast-feeding.
Childhood.
Stomach ulcer and duodenal ulcer.
Pancreatitis.
Pregnancy and lactation:Adequate and well-controlled studies on humans and animals have not been conducted. There is no information on the penetration into breast milk. Do not use when pregnant and breast-feeding.

Dosing and Administration:As part of complex therapy. Applicable inwards:
- adults - 1 tablespoon 3-5 times a day after meals;
- children of school age - 1 dessert spoon 3-5 times a day after meals;
- children of preschool age - 1 teaspoon 3-5 times a day after meals.
Side effects:Possible: allergic reactions.
Overdose:Not described.
Treatment is symptomatic.
Interaction:Clinically significant interactions are not described.
Special instructions:Common for all preparations from medicinal plant raw materials: prefer freshly prepared water infusions from whole herbal medicinal raw material (shelf life not more than 48 hours).
