Composition:

In 1 g of ointment contains:

active substances: dimethyl sulfoxide - 50 mg, racemic camphor - 30 mg, turpentine gum - 30 mg, benzilnicotinate - 20 mg, nonivamide - 2 mg;

Excipients: cetostearyl alcohol, emulsifying (type A) 97 mg, sodium cetyl stearyl sulfate 38 mg, polysorbate 80 mg 20 mg, bronopol 1 mg, purified water up to 1 g.

Description:

Ointment is white or white with a slightly yellowish hue of color, with a specific smell of camphor and turpentine.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    An analgesic and warming ointment contains substances that have a vasodilating and irritating effect on the sensitive nerve endings, as a result of which it has a locally irritating, hyperemic and analgesic effect. Local skin irritation causes a change in blood supply and a selective reduction in the trophism of internal organs innervated by these same segments of the spinal cord. Additional irritation in the corresponding segment of the spinal cord causes additional activation of the antinociceptive system, which prevents pain impulses in the cerebral cortex and improves the tolerance of pain.

    The skin temperature rises by 1-2 ° C for 2-3 hours.

    The analgesic effect comes in 30-40 minutes and lasts up to 3-6 hours. When you reapply the ointment lasts for 10-14 days.

    Pharmacokinetics:The ointment is quickly absorbed into nearby tissues. Absorption in the systemic circulation is insignificant.
    Indications:Muscle and joint pain, as well as as a warming ointment for athletes.
    Contraindications:

    Individual hypersensitivity to the drug, ulcers and skin diseases, pregnancy and the period of breastfeeding, children's age.

    Pregnancy and lactation:Due to the lack of data on the safety of ointment during pregnancy and lactation, the use of ointment during this period is not recommended.

    With muscular and joint pain - 1-3 g of ointment is applied with the help of an applicator on the area of ​​the painful area and lightly rubbed into the skin 2-3 times a day.

    When applying as a warming-up in athletes apply to the massaged area with the help of an applicator. A small amount of ointment (about 2-3 grams) is rubbed with massaged movements before redness of the skin. After training, you should wash off the ointment from the skin with cool water.

    The duration of treatment depends on the nature and severity of the disease, but do not use the drug for more than 10 days without consulting a doctor.

    If you forgot to apply the drug

    If you forget to use the drug, use it as soon as possible and continue to use as usual. Do not use a double dose if the previous time of the drug was missed.
