    • Pharmacodynamics:

    The drug KARMOLIS® LIQUID is applied topically and has a local irritating (distracting), local anesthetic and anti-inflammatory effects.

    The drug is easily absorbed through the skin and renders:

    - at the first stage, the cooling effect;

    - in the future the preparation has a warming effect.

    These effects are achieved through a combination of essential oils, methyl salicylate and levomenthol, which are part of the Carmol oil.

    Indications:

    It is used as a local oozing (distracting) and anti-inflammatory agent for injuries of the musculoskeletal system and soft tissues (sprains and tendons, bruises).

    Contraindications:

    - Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;

    - impaired renal function;

    - period of pregnancy, breastfeeding;

    - children's age (up to 12 years);

    - violation of the integrity of the skin, dermatological diseases in the places of the intended application.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Apply the drug to the painful area up to 5 times a day with the subsequent massage of this area.

    The course of treatment is up to 2-3 weeks, unless the doctor has appointed a different scheme of use.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions, skin irritation (redness, itching) are possible.

    Overdose:Cases of overdose when using the drug according to the instructions are not recorded.
    Interaction:

    The drug causes flushing of the skin and reflexively enhances blood circulation in the subcutaneous tissue; Thus, joint application with other drugs of local action can lead to an increase in their effect.

    Special instructions:

    - The drug is intended for external use only.

    - Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes.

    - Do not apply the drug to open and bleeding wounds.

    - Do not use the drug for compresses, bandages.

    - Do not apply the product on large areas of the skin for a long time.
