Pharmacodynamics:

Antiseptic, is a part of combined preparations in ENT-practice and ophthalmology, intended for topical application.

Has antifungal, antibacterial and weak local anesthetic effect.

Pharmacokinetics:

It is applied locally, systemic effect on the body does not.

Indications:

It is applied topically as a part of the combined means used in ENT practice and ophthalmology. Used as a preservative in the composition of eye drops and some injectable solutions.

Individual intolerance, children up to 3 years.

Dosing and Administration:

Side effects:

Allergic reactions.

Overdose:

In case of accidental use inside: weakness, loss of consciousness, respiratory depression.

Treatment is symptomatic.

Interaction:

It is combined with docusate sodium, chloroform, chlorhexidine.

Special instructions:

Adsorbed on materials that are part of soft contact lenses.
