  • Pharmacodynamics:It has antibacterial (bacteriostatic and bactericidal) action, especially for staphylococci, including antibiotic-resistant strains. Has anti-inflammatory effect.
    Indications:Infectious-inflammatory diseases caused by staphylococci, including antibiotic-resistant strains; burns, long unhealed wounds and trophic ulcers of the limbs; cervical erosion; for the prevention of postoperative complications, as well as for the sanation of the intestine with staphylococcal carriage.
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. When administered orally, children under 18 years of age.
    Pregnancy and lactation:The results of specially conducted experimental studies have shown that chlorophyllipt is nontoxic and does not have teratogenic and embryotoxic properties. During pregnancy and lactation, the use of the drug is possible, assessing the relationship between benefit and harm.
    Dosing and Administration:
    Assigned inside and locally.
    When used internally in adults, 5 ml of chlorophyllipt is diluted in 30 ml of water. For sanation of the intestine with staphylococcal carriage and prevention of postoperative complications, the drug is prescribed 3 times a day 40 minutes before meals daily for 2-3 weeks. When sanitizing the intestine, the drug is also administered in an enema - 20 ml of 1% alcohol: dilute 1 liters of water (dose for 1 enema). Enema with chlorophyllite put every 2 days. The course of treatment consists of 10 procedures.
    In local applications (treatment of burns, long-healing wounds and trophic ulcers of extremities), chlorophyllipt alcohol solution 1% is diluted with 0.25% solution of novocain in a ratio of 1: 5 and used as impregnated dressing gauze bandages. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.
    In the treatment of cervical erosion, all the folds of the vaginal mucosa and the vaginal part of the cervix are previously drained with swabs and the canal of the cervix is ​​lubricated with a chlorophyllipt alcohol solution diluted 1: 10.Manipulation is carried out for 10 days daily, after which for 2 weeks the patient should syringe with the solution of the drug (1 tablespoon of chlorophyllipt alcohol 1% solution per 1 liter of water). In case of incomplete epithelization of erosion, the treatment course should be repeated.
    Side effects:There may be allergic reactions.
    Overdose:Perhaps increased side effects.
    Interaction:It should be borne in mind that in the presence of residues of hydrogen peroxide in the wound, chlorophyllipt precipitates. Therefore, after washing the wound with hydrogen peroxide, its residues must be removed with a sterile isotonic sodium chloride solution.
    Special instructions:
    -Depending on the chosen method of application, sensitivity to chlorophyllipt is determined, for which the patient drinks 25 drops of the Drug dissolved in 1 tablespoon of water. If there are no signs of allergy after 6-8 h (swelling of the lips, mucous throat, etc.), the drug can be used,
    -In local application (treatment of burns, long healing wounds and trophic ulcers of extremities, erosion of the cervix), the procedure can be alternated with 2% oil solution of chlorophyllipt.
