Characteristic
Grass horsetail field contains flavonoids and other biologically active substances.
Description:Pieces of stems and branches partially with nodes and vaginas. The color is green, light green, grayish-green with black impregnations. The smell is weak. The taste of water extract is slightly sour.

    • Pharmacodynamics:Infusion of herb horsetail has a diuretic and anti-inflammatory effect. The therapeutic effect manifests itself from the first day of admission and is observed throughout the treatment period.
    Indications:In the complex therapy of edematous syndrome of various genesis (renal dysfunction, chronic heart failure); with inflammatory processes of the bladder and urinary tract (cystitis, urethritis).
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the drug, nephritis, nephrosis, nephrozonephritis, pregnancy, lactation, age under 18 years.
    Dosing and Administration:About 10 grams (2.5 tablespoons) of herbs are placed in enameled dishes, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water,close the lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water. Take inside 1/4 cup 3-4 times a day for 15 minutes before meals.
    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.
    Side effects:Allergic reactions are possible. With prolonged use, irritation of the renal parenchyma.
