Composition:

In 100 ml of the elixir there are essential oils obtained by the method of water vapor distillation from the following amounts of medicinal plant material:

Melissa officinalis leaves (Melissa officinalis L.) 536 mg.

Devyasil high rhizome (Inula helenium L.) 714 mg.

Gentian yellow roots (Gentiana lutea L.) 714 mg.

Pomeranza bitter fruiting (Citrus aurantium L. ssp. Aurantium) 714 mg.

Angelica roots (Angelica archangelica L.) 714 mg.

Ginger medicinal rhizome (Zingiber officinale Roscoe) 714 mg.

Clove tree flowers (Syzygium aromaticum (L.) Merr. Et Perry) 285 mg.

Apnea of the medicinal rhizome (Alpinia officinarum (L.) Hance) 285 mg.

Cinnamon Chinese flowers (Cinnamomum cassia Blume) 36 mg.

Pepper black fruit (Piper nigrum L.) 71 mg.

Cardamom fruit (Elettaria cardamomum (L.) Maton var. Minuscula Burkill) 10 mg.

Description:

Transparent, colorless or slightly yellowish liquid with a characteristic odor.

Pharmacodynamics:

When administered orally, the drug has a sedative, spasmolytic, and anti-inflammatory effect.

With external application, the drug shows a local irritating (distracting), anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial effect.

Indications:

The drug is administered orally in adults with increased nervous excitability, sleep disorders, dyspeptic disorders of nervous origin (flatulence, a feeling of heaviness in the stomach), in complex therapy for colds.

Outer is used for myalgia, neuralgia.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

When administered orally: gastritis, peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer during the exacerbation, colitis / enteritis, liver disease, alcoholism, epilepsy, diseases and brain trauma, pregnancy and the period of breastfeeding, children under 18 years.

With external application: damage to the skin in places of presumed application of the drug, children under 18 years of age.

Dosing and Administration:

With increased nervous excitability: 1-3 teaspoons of the drug 3 times a day after meals, previously diluted with a double amount of warm water or tea. If necessary, the resulting solution can be sweetened with sugar or honey. In case of sleep disorders: 1-3 teaspoons of the preparation of Kosterfrau Melisana® before bedtime, previously diluted with a double amount of warm water.

With dyspeptic disorders / flatulence, a feeling of heaviness in the stomach): 1-3 teaspoons of Clostrafrau Melisan® preparation, previously diluted with a double amount of warm water.

With catarrhal diseases: at the first signs of the disease, take 3 times a day after eating 3 teaspoons of the drug, previously diluted with a double amount of hot water or tea. Before going to bed, take 2-3 teaspoons of Clostrafrau Melisana ® preparation with hot tea, hot water with sugar or honey.

With neuralgia, myalgia Clostrafrau Melisana® should be applied to the painful area and rubed until completely absorbed. With sensitive skin, the drug should be diluted with a double amount of water.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible. With oral administration, heartburn, dyspeptic events, blocking, dizziness are possible.

In case of external application, skin irritation may occur at the site of application.

Overdose:

When using the drug inside at doses exceeding the recommended, there may be known side effects of alcohol.

Prolonged external application of undiluted preparation can lead to skin damage.

In case of an overdose of the drug, you should consult a doctor: The doctor can assess the degree of damage and prescribe the necessary treatment.

Interaction:

The effect of other drugs may be enhanced or weakened by the effect of alcohol contained in the preparation. In particular, the effectiveness of benzodiazepines can be enhanced.

Simultaneous administration of Clostrafrau Melisan® and pheniton, tolbutamide, warfarin or meprobamate may reduce the half-life of these drugs (due to the presence of ethanol in Clostrafrau Melisana®).

Special instructions:

Due to the different individual sensitivity of patients to medicines, do not take an increased or a double dose if you forget to take the drug on time. The drug should be continued in the usual dose. When the preparation is diluted with a double amount of water, the content of ethyl alcohol in the resulting solution is about 18%.

Receiving 15 ml (3 teaspoons) Clostrafrau Melisana® leads to a blood alcohol concentration of approximately 0.1% 0. The maximum single dose of the drug (15 ml) contains 7.9 g of ethyl alcohol.

Due to the high content of ethyl alcohol, the drug should not be taken orally on an empty stomach (fasting can be heartburn, nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain).

Patients should avoid getting the drug on the mucous membrane of the eyes.

If the product gets on the eye mucosa, immediately rinse eyes with plenty of water for about 10 minutes.

If side effects increase and / or if new side effects occur that are not listed in the instructions, you should consult your doctor.

Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:Persons whose work requires concentration of attention (driving vehicles, working with mechanisms, etc.) should not take the drug before and during operation, because when using the drug, the speed of psychomotor reactions can be reduced due to the content of ethyl alcohol (59% by weight).

For 235 ml of the drug in transparent bottles of white glass with an inner diameter of the neck from the open end of 13.7 mm, closed with a screw-on plastic lid with a diameter of 25.7 ± 0.2 mm and a height of 28.7 + 0.3 mm -1 mm.

For 1 bottle together with instructions for medical use in a pack of cardboard.
