Kollomak is intended for external use only!
For application use a brush (stick-wax) inside the lid of the bottle.
Kollomak should be applied to the affected areas of the skin one drop 1-2 times a day. In adults the daily dose should not exceed 2.0 grams of salicylic acid, which roughly corresponds to 10.0 ml of the Collomac solution; in children the daily dose should not exceed 0.2 g of salicylic acid, which roughly corresponds to 1.0 ml of the Collomac solution. When using the drug in children, several areas of the skin should not be treated simultaneously.
Duration of treatment: as a rule, after 3-4 days, you can remove corns and calluses. When applying the maximum allowable daily dose (10.0 ml in adults and 1.0 ml in children), the duration of treatment should not exceed 1 week.
In the presence of multiple foci of skin lesions, the treatment with Collomac should be carried out in several stages, at intervals.
During the procedure, there may be moderate redness and rarely swelling on healthy skin around the site of application, which disappears without a trace 24-48 hours after completion of the procedure. These phenomena are considered normal, no additional treatment is required. In case of pain, treatment should be interrupted. Within a few days, the treated area acquires a dark brown hue with the formation of a scab. In case of unsatisfactory results, you can repeat the procedure in a few days.
Do not remove the scab, it should fall off on its own (otherwise it may damage the healing of tissues).
