    Composition:

    active substance: hawthorn leaves and flowers extract dry (4-7: 1) 4-standardized ** - 300,00 mg (which corresponds to the native extract - 240,00 mg);

    Excipients: silicon dioxide colloid - 6,000 mg, microcrystalline cellulose - 150,900 mg, corn starch - 75,000 mg, carmellose sodium - 30,000 mg, stearic acid - 15,000 mg, giprolose - 5,100 mg, talc - 259,613 mg;

    composition of the shell: sucrose - 106.039 mg, calcium carbonate (E170) - 33.365 mg, titanium dioxide (E171) - 9.217 mg, povidone-K25 - 6.533 mg, macrogol-6000 - 3.191 mg, wax mountain glycolide 0.060 mg, wax bee white 0.060 mg , iron oxide red E172 (iron III oxide) -0.042 mg.

    ** Hawthorn leaves and flowers extract dry standardized consists of 80% native extract of dry hawthorn leaves and flowers, 15% maltodextrin and 5% silicon colloidal dioxide.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Has a cardiotonic effect due to a complex of biologically active components contained in the extract of leaves and flowers of hawthorn, primarily flavonoids and oligomeric procyanides. It is established that flavonoids reduce the intake of calcium ions into the cell and reduce their intracellular concentration, which leads to a decrease in vascular tone and vasodilation. The following effects of the extract of leaves and hawthorn flowers were revealed: a positive inotropic effect, a positive dromotropic effect, a negative butmotropic effect, an increase in coronary, myocardial and cerebral blood flow, and a decrease in total peripheral vascular resistance. Reduces the excitability of the central nervous system (CNS) and cardiac muscle, has antiarrhythmic and hypotensive effects.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    The effect of the drug Kreumium is the cumulative effect of the active substances of the extract of flowers and hawthorn leaves, therefore it is not possible to carry out pharmacokinetic studies; all components can not be traced using markers or bioassays.

    Indications:

    In the complex therapy of chronic heart failure I-II functional class (according to the classification NYHA).

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; age under 18 years (due to the lack of sufficient clinical data); rare hereditary forms of intolerance to fructose, glucose-galactose malabsorption or a deficiency of sucrose / isomaltase (since the composition contains sucrose).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The use of the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is contraindicated due to the lack of reliable data on the safety of the extract of leaves and hawthorn flowers during these periods.

    Dosing and Administration:

    For 1 tablet 2-3 times a day. The recommended course of treatment is 6 weeks. The need for longer treatment should be determined by the doctor, and the duration of treatment should not exceed 6 months.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions: exanthema, itchy skin;

    From the gastrointestinal tract: dyspeptic phenomena (nausea, vomiting);

    From the cardiovascular system: bradycardia and arterial hypotension (with prolonged use in large doses);

    Overdose:

    Symptoms: No cases of overdose have been reported. With a significant overdose it is possible to increase the frequency and the severity of dose-dependent side effects, indicated in the section "Side effect."

    Interaction:

    There are no reports on interaction of the drug with other medications, however, if you need to use Krement with other medications at the same time, you should consult your doctor. With the simultaneous use of hawthorn extract and cardiac glycosides (digoxin, strophanthine and others), the cardiotonic effect increases. With beta-blockers - it is possible to strengthen the hypotensive effect.

    Information for patients with diabetes mellitus

    Each tablet of Kreium contains about 106 mg of sucrose, which corresponds to 0.009 XE (bread unit). When taking the recommended daily dose of the drug, this amount is insignificant even if it is necessary to comply with the anti-diabetic diet.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    When used in recommended doses Kregium drug has no effect on ability to drive and engage in other potentially hazardous activities that require concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

    The coated tablets are 240 mg.

    Packaging:10 tablets are placed in a blister of white polypropylene and semi-rigid aluminum foil with an internal film coating. For 5 or 10 blisters, I put them in a cardboard box together with instructions for medical use.
