Composition:

The drug is opurified fraction of globulin of immune cow colostrum, obtained by the method of alcohol precipitation and lyophilized. The active principle of the preparation is the immune colostrum globulins containing antibodies to Group B Salmonella (S. typhimurium), salmonella of group D (S.enteritidis and S.Dublin), proteus (P.mirabilis and P.vulgaris), Klebsiella (K.pneumoniae) and pseudomonas (P. aeruginosa).

Pharmacodynamics:Contained in the preparation antibodies have a pronounced antibacterial and antitoxic effect against salmonella, proteus, klebsiella and pseudomonas.
Indications:Treatment of children in the presence of their diseases accompanied by diarrhea caused by Salmonella group B (S. typhimurium), salmonella and group D (S.enteritidis and S.Dublin), proteome (P.mirabilis and P.vuigaris), Klebsiella (K.pneumoniae), pseudomonas (P. aeruginosa), as well as associations of these microorganisms and dysbiosis.

Prevention of salmonella infection in newborns and children at risk for the incidence of acute intestinal infections (early transfer to artificial or mixed feeding, use of antibiotics and chemotherapy drugs, education in children's homes), in contact with infected salmonella infection.

Contraindications:Contraindication to the use of the drug is the individual intolerance of cow's milk.
Dosing and Administration:

Lactoglobulin is used inside for 20-30 minutes before feeding. From the bottle remove the metal cap and rubber stopper, pour boiled water at room temperature at the rate of 10 ml (2 teaspoons) per dose of the drug, mix.

Do not shake the preparation.

Within 5 minutes after the addition of water, a clear, slightly opalescent liquid with a yellowish tinge should form.

If the content of the vial is 2 doses diluted drug, closed with a stopper, it is allowed to store at a temperature of 2 to 10 ° C for not more than 1 day.

The preparation with the broken integrity of the package, without labeling, with change of physical properties, in the presence of foreign inclusions, with improper storage, with the expired shelf life is not suitable for use.

The drug is prescribed at the earliest possible time from the date of diagnosis: newborns 1 dose 1-2 times a day, children from 1 to 6 months. - 1 dose 2 times a day; children from 6 months. up to 1 year - 2 doses 2 times a day; children older than 1 year - 2 doses 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is from 7 to 14 days. In severe cases, treatment can be extended to 21 days.

Treatment with lactoglobulin is carried out against the background of conventional antibacterial and symptomatic therapy.

To fix the effect of treatment, a combination of the drug with bifidumbacterin is recommended.

For the prevention of salmonella infection in children at risk from 1 month and older 1 dose 2 times a day for 10 to 14 days. It is possible to repeat courses of using lactoglobulin at intervals of 3-4 months.

For emergency prevention of salmonella infection in contact with diseased, newborns - 0.5 doses 2 times a day, children from 1 month. and older - 1 dose 2 times a day, 10 days.

Interaction:Lactoglobulin is compatible with antibiotics, normoflora preparations (bifidumbacterin, bifikol, bifilysis, lactobacterin, acylact, acipol).
