Composition:

1 capsule contains:

Active ingredient: Powder Probiotech AB Blend 64 (Probio-tec® AB Blend 64) - 60,000 mg (the powder contains active components: Lactobacillus acidophilus (LA-5) -13.8 mg and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (BB-12) - 4.2 mg; auxiliary components: dextrose anhydrous - 29.1 mg, cellulose microcrystalline - 6 mg, potato starch 6 - mg, magnesium stearate - 0.9 mg).

Excipients: Beneo Synergy 1 (Beneo® Synergy 1) - 171,500 mg (powder contains 90-94% of inulin and 6-10% of oligofructose (dextrose + fructose + sucrose)); magnesium stearate - 3,500 mg.

Capsule body composition: hypromellose - 33.149 mg, titanium dioxide (E 171) - 0.691 mg.

Composition of cap capsule: hypromellose - 22,080 mg, titanium dioxide dye (E 171) - 0.240 mg, ferric oxide yellow oxide (E 172) - 0.240 mg.

  • Combination of microorganisms producing lactic acid with other drugs
    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Linex® Forte normalizes the intestinal microflora.

    One capsule of the Linex product® Forte contains lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus acidophilus (LA-5) and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (BB-12)), each capsule contains 109 colony-forming units of live lyophilized lactobacilli. Live lactic acid bacteria are a normal component of the natural intestinal microflora.

    The main functions of lactic acid bacteria:

    - Protective: synthesis of substances with antibacterial activity;

    - fermento-producing: hydrolysis of fiber, proteins, fats, starch, deconjugation of bile acids, synthetic: synthesis of vitamins of group B, C, K, amino acids, organic acids, etc.

    Lactic Acid Bacteria LA-5 and BB-12 inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria by:

    - decrease in pH in the intestine (result of ability LA-5 synthesize lactic acid and BB-12 synthesize acetic and succinic acids in addition to lactic acid);

    - the production of metabolites that have a toxic effect against pathogenic bacteria (the formation of H2ABOUT2);

    - the formation of antimicrobial substances, bacteriocins (LA-5 secrets acididin, a broad-spectrum bacteriocin that inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi);

    - competition with pathogenic bacteria for nutrients;

    - interaction with adhesion receptors, thus preventing the colonization of other, potentially pathogenic microorganisms.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Lactic acid bacteria, such as LA-5 and BB-12, act directly in the gastrointestinal tract,when ingested, the drug is not subject to systemic absorption. Standard pharmacokinetic studies are thus not applicable. Sustainability LA-5 and BB-12 to the effects of gastric juice and bile allows strains to survive in large quantities when passing through the stomach and 12-colon. Both strains are attached to the intestinal mucosa. Like other microorganisms, they are gradually removed from the gastrointestinal tract by peristalsis and defecation.

    Indications:

    Treatment and prevention of intestinal dysbiosis.

    Dysbacteriosis of the intestine is manifested by the following symptoms: diarrhea (diarrhea), indigestion (indigestion), constipation, flatulence (bloating), nausea, belching, vomiting, abdominal pain, allergic skin reactions possible.

    Contraindications:

    - Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;

    - hereditary intolerance to fructose, a deficiency of sugar, isomaltase or glucose-galactose malabsorption.

    Carefully:

    With caution in diabetes mellitus (simple sugars are included), insufficiency of the immune system (eg, HIV infection).

    Diarrhea in children younger than 6 years of age should be treated under the supervision of a doctor.
    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Due to the lack of data on use in pregnant women, it is not recommended to use the Linex® Forte capsules during pregnancy and breastfeeding without first consulting a doctor.

    When prescribing the drug for the treatment of acute diarrhea during pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is necessary to monitor the doctor.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Linex® Forte Capsules are preferably taken during or after a meal, with a small amount of liquid.

    Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 capsule 1-3 times a day.

    Children from 2 to 12 years: 1 capsule 1-2 times a day.

    Newborns and children under 2 years of age: 1 capsule 1 time per day.

    Diarrhea in children younger than 6 years it is necessary to treat under the supervision of a doctor.

    When Linex® Forte is prescribed to children and patients who can not swallow a whole capsule, it must be opened, the contents poured into a spoon and mixed with a small amount of liquid.

    Duration of treatment depends on the cause of development of dysbacteriosis and individual characteristics of the organism. The drug Linex® Forte can be taken until the symptoms of dysbiosis disappear.

    Do not exceed recommended daily doses.
    Side effects:

    The drug is well tolerated. There are no undesirable effects, however, hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

    Overdose:

    There are no data on overdose symptoms.

    Interaction:

    Unwanted interaction with other drugs has not been noted.

    With the simultaneous use of antibiotics, the recommended interval between the intake of the drug (antibiotic) and the capsules of Linex® Forte is 3 hours.

    Special instructions:

    Do not drink Linex® Forte with hot drinks and take with alcohol at the same time.

    It is necessary to consult with the attending physician before taking the drug if you:

    - body temperature above 38 ° C;

    - traces of blood or mucus in the stool;

    - Diarrhea lasts more than two days and is accompanied by acute pain in the abdomen, dehydration and weight loss;

    - chronic diseases - diabetes, HIV infection.

    In the treatment of diarrhea, it is necessary to recover lost fluid and electrolytes.

    SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF UNUSED DRUGS

    There is no need for special precautions when destroying an unused Linex® Forte.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    The drug does not affect the driving of vehicles and the management of mechanisms.

    Primary packaging

    For 6, 7 or 8 capsules in a blister of Al / Al foil.

    Secondary packaging

    For 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 blisters for 6, 7 or 8 capsules together with instructions for medical use in a cardboard box.

    Storage conditions:

    Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    2 years.

    Do not use after the expiration date.
