Composition:Lime flowers.
Description:

A mixture of flowers, pedicels and pieces of bracts of various shapes ranging in size from 0.5 to 20 mm.Color petals whitish-yellow, sepals - greenish - or yellowish-gray, bracts of leaves - light yellow or greenish-yellow.

The smell is weak, fragrant. The taste of water extract is sweetish, slightly astringent, with a sensation of mucus.

Pharmacotherapeutic group:A diaphoretic means of plant origin
Pharmacodynamics:

Infusion of lime flowers has a diaphoretic effect.

Indications:

ARVI (symptomatic treatment).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the preparations of lime, hay fever.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Application during pregnancy and during lactation is possible if the expected benefit for the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby. It is necessary to consult a doctor.

Dosing and Administration:

About 10 g (3 tablespoons) of flowers are placed in enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

Take orally in hot form 2-3 times a day: adults and children over 16 years old - 1-2 glasses each; children from 13 to 16 years - 1 glass; children from 7 to 12 years - 1/2 cup; children from 3 to 6 years - 1/3 cup,children up to 3 years - 1-2 tablespoons.

Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

Allergic reactions are possible.

To date, cases of overdose have not been reported.
