Composition:

Lime flowers.

Description:

A mixture of flowers, pedicels and pieces of bracts of various shapes.Color petals whitish-yellow, sepals - greenish or yellowish-gray, light brown, bracts of leaves - light yellow, greenish-yellow, light green. The smell is weak, fragrant. The taste of water extract is sweetish, slightly astringent, with a sensation of mucus.

Flowers contain essential oil, flavonoids, mucus and other biologically active substances.

Infusion has a diaphoretic effect.

Indications:

Acute respiratory viral infections (symptomatic treatment).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the drug, pollinosis.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Application during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is possible if the expected benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby. It is necessary to consult a doctor.

Dosing and Administration:

About 10 g (3 tablespoons) of flowers are placed in enameled dishes, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes,cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw material was squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

Take in hot or warm form 2-3 times a day: adults and children over 12 years - 1 glass, children from 7 to 12 years - 1/2 cup, children from 3 to 6 years - 1/3 cup , children under 3 years - 1-2 tablespoons.

Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.
