    A complex of biologically active substances of vegetable origin, which are part of Liv's preparation. 52®, normalizes the protein-synthetic function of the liver, stimulates the restoration of liver cells, has a choleretic effect, protects the liver from the effects of toxic substances (alcohol, medications, etc.), improves digestion.

    Indications:

    As a therapeutic and prophylactic for

    - acute hepatitis A;

    - acute and chronic hepatitis B and C;

    - toxic hepatitis, incl. medicinal products;

    - anorexia;

    - alcoholic liver disease;

    - Precirric states;

    - in the course of prophylaxis of hepatotoxicity of antibiotics, antituberculosis, antipyretic drugs, contraceptives and other hepatotoxic drugs, prevention of anorexia in the course of radiation and chemotherapy.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

    Cholelithiasis.

    Children under 6 years.

    Pregnancy and lactation.

    The duration of the course of therapy is 2 weeks. If necessary, the course of therapy can be continued after a 2-week break.

    As a hepatoprotective agent in the course of anti-tuberculosis therapy and with the use of other hepatotoxic drugs, incl. in order to prevent anorexia in the course of radiation and chemotherapy:

    children from 6 years old: 1 tablet 2 times a day;

    adults: 2 tablets 2 times a day.

    The drug is taken with antituberculosis drugs and other chemotherapy drugs, the duration of the course of treatment corresponds to the duration of the course of chemotherapy.

    With alcoholic liver disease:

    2 tablets 3 times a day for 1 month, then 1 tablet 3 times a day for 6-12 months.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions and dyspeptic disturbances are possible; rarely - loosening of the stool in patients with a history of digestion and absorption and / or diarrhea.

    Interaction:

    Liv.52® lowers the concentration of ibuprofen, possibly due to a slower absorption.

    The drug reduces the bioavailability of tetracycline and doxycycline.
