Composition:

Mother-and-stepmother leaves are crushed.

Characteristic

The leaves contain mucous substances, bitter glycosides, saponins, carotenoids, flavonoids, essential oil, tannins, macro- and microelements and other biologically active substances.

Description:

Pieces of leaves of various shapes passing through a sieve with apertures 7 mm in diameter. Color grayish green. The smell is absent. The taste of water extract is slightly bitter with a sensation of mucus.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Infusion of leaves of mother-and-stepmother has expectorant, weak anti-inflammatory effect.

    Slime, organic acids and saponins contribute to the dilution of viscous discharge in the upper respiratory tract, improvement of sputum discharge. Due to the high content of mucus, the mother-and-stepmother's preparations have an enveloping effect on the mucous membranes of the mouth, throat and larynx, preventing them from irritation.

    Indications:

    Inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (laryngitis, tracheitis, chronic bronchitis, bronchopneumonia), accompanied by a cough with hard-to-separate sputum.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, lactation, children under 12 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    About 10 g (2 tablespoons) of raw materials are placed in enameled dishes, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Take inside in a warm form 2-3 tablespoons 2-3 times a day for 1 hour before meals.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    For 10 grams, 15 grams, 50 grams and 100 grams in packs of cardboard with an internal paper bag and instructions for use.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:
