Composition:

Melissa herbs.

Characteristic

Melissa herb contains essential oil, flavonoids, tannins and other biologically active substances.

Description:A mixture of pieces of stems, leaves, flowers and buds. Color from green to greenish-brown with greyish-green, light green, light brown, brown, brownish-white, yellowish-white impregnations. The smell is weak, fragrant. The taste of the water extract is slightly bitter.

    • Pharmacodynamics:Infusion of balm of medicinal herbs has a mild soothing effect, has moderate antispasmodic properties.
    Indications:Increased emotional excitability, irritability, sleep disturbances (disturbances of falling asleep, early awakening).
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the drug, drowsiness, lethargy, inhibition, pregnancy, lactation, children under 12 years.
    Dosing and Administration:

    2 filter packets (3.0 g) are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, cover and insist for 15 minutes,periodically pressing on the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Take inside 1/2 - 1/3 cup 2-3 times a day 1 hour after eating. The course of treatment is 3-4 weeks.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:Allergic reactions are possible.
    Interaction:Strengthens the effect of hypnotics and other medications that depress the central nervous system.
    Special instructions:

    In case of individual intolerance, the infusion of melissa is replaced with valerian preparations.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:With prolonged use of the drug in large doses, it is possible to reduce psychomotor reactions - caution should be exercised when driving vehicles, working with mechanisms, etc.

    1,5 g of powder in filter bags; for 10 or 20 filter bags in a pack of cardboard.

    In a dry place protected from light; prepared infusion - in a cool place not more than 2 days.
