Ginkgo bilobate leaves extract dry * EGb 761®** (35-67: 1), extractant: acetone 60%, standardized for the content of ginkgoflavonglycosides 19.6 mg of terpenalactones 4.8 mg (2.24-2.72 mg ginkgolides A, B, C and 2.08-2 , 56 mg of bilobalide) 80.00 mg.

Auxiliary components of the kernel: lactose monohydrate 45.50 mg, silicon dioxide colloid 2.00 mg, microcrystalline cellulose 109.00 mg, corn starch 10.00 mg, croscarmellose sodium 10.00 mg, magnesium stearate 3.50 mg.

Description:

Round tablets of biconvex form, film-coated, brownish-red. The view of the break is from light yellow to brownish-yellow in color.

Pharmacotherapeutic group:Angioprotective agent of plant origin
Pharmacodynamics:

Vegetable preparation increases the resistance of the body to hypoxia, especially brain tissue inhibits the development of traumatic or toxic edema of the brain, improves cerebral and peripheral blood circulation, improves blood rheology.

Has a dose-dependent regulatory effect on the vascular system, dilates the small arteries, increases the tone of the veins. Prevents formation of free radicals and peroxide oxidation of cell membrane lipids. It normalizes the release, reabsorption and catabolism of neurotransmitters (norepinephrine, dopamine, acetylcholine) and their ability to combine with receptors. It improves the metabolism in organs and tissues, promotes the accumulation of macroerges in cells, increases utilization of oxygen and glucose, normalization of mediator processes in the central nervous system.

Indications:
  • Violations of the brain, including age-related disorders of cerebral circulation, accompanied by the following symptoms: memory impairment, decreased ability to concentrate and intellectual abilities, dizziness, tinnitus, headache.
  • violations of peripheral circulation: obliterating diseases of arteries of the lower extremities with such characteristic symptoms as intermittent claudication, numbness and cold snap, Raynaud's disease.
  • disorders of the inner ear, manifested by dizziness, unstable gait and noise in the ears.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to components preparation; lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption; reduced blood clotting, erosive gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the stage of exacerbation; acute disorders of cerebral circulation, acute myocardial infarction; children under 18 years of age, due to insufficiency data on the use of the drug in this age group.
Carefully:Patients with epilepsy.
Pregnancy and lactation:

Due to the lack of sufficient clinical data, the use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

Dosing and Administration:

If the doctor has not been assigned a different dosing regimen, the following recommendations for taking the drug Memoplant should be adhered to:

For symptomatic treatment of disorders of cerebral circulation:

1 tablet 2-3 times a day. The duration of treatment is not less than 8 weeks.

In cases of peripheral circulatory disorders:

1 tablet 2 times a day. The duration of the course of treatment is at least 6 weeks.

In vascular or involutional pathology:

1 tablet 2 times a day. The duration of the course of treatment is 6-8 weeks.

The tablets covered with a cover, it is necessary to accept inside not chewing, squeezed a small amount of a liquid, irrespective of reception-food.

If the drug was missed or if an insufficient amount was taken, follow-up should be done as described in this manual without any changes.

Side effects:

There may be allergic reactions (redness, swelling of the skin, itching), gastrointestinal disorders in rare cases (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), headache, hearing impairment, dizziness, decreased blood clotting.

Single cases of bleeding were observed in patients who simultaneously took funds that reduced blood coagulability; the causal relationship of these bleedings with the administration of Ginkgo preparations of bilobate EGb 761® is not confirmed. In case of occurrence of any undesirable phenomena, reception of a preparation should be stopped and address to the attending physician.

Overdose:

Cases of drug overdose have not been registered to date. Memoplant has good tolerability.

Interaction:

It is not recommended to use the drug Memoplant for patients who constantly take acetylsalicylic acid, anticoagulants (direct and indirect action), as well as drugs that lower blood coagulability.

It is not recommended simultaneous use of ginkgo biloba preparations with efazirenzom, since it is possible to reduce its concentration in the blood plasma due to the induction of cytochrome CYP3A4 under the influence of ginkgo biloba.

Special instructions:

With frequent feelings dizziness and noise in the ears, it is necessary to consult with doctor. In case of sudden deterioration or loss of hearing, you need immediately consult a doctor. Against the background of the use of Ginkgo drugs bilobate, in patients with epilepsy, it is possible appearance of epileptic seizures.

Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:During the period of taking the drug, care should be taken when carrying out potentially dangerous activities that require an increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (vehicle management, work with moving mechanisms).
Form release / dosage:

Tablets, film-coated 80 mg.

Packaging:For 10, 15, 20 tablets in a foil blister of aluminum and PVC film; 1, 2, 3 or 5 blisters are placed together with instructions for use in a cardboard pack.
Storage conditions:

Store at a temperature not higher than 30 ° C.
