Pharmacodynamics:Has antiseptic (due to formaldehyde, formed from hexamethylenetetramine), anti-inflammatory, antihistaminic, hemostatic (calcium-induced chloride) effects and reduces vascular permeability.

Indications:Symptomatic treatment of acute respiratory diseases and "catarrhal" diseases (as part of complex therapy).

Contraindications:- hypoacidity of gastric juice;
- hepatic and / or kidney failure;
- pregnancy and the period of breastfeeding;
- childhood;
- individual intolerance.
Pregnancy and lactation: Action category for the fetus by FDA not determined, the drug is contraindicated for use during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
Dosing and Administration:The drug is prescribed with the initial symptoms of a cold - 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day. The duration of treatment is 3-5 days.
Side effects:Dyspeptic disorders: nausea, changes in stool.
Overdose:In case of overdose, there is a sharp irritation of the conjunctiva and mucous membranes of the respiratory tract, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. For treatment is recommended the use of thioctic acid, folic acid, ascorbic acid, pyridoxine and nicotinic acid preparations.
