Composition:

Dioxomethyltetrahydropyrimidine (methyluracil) - 10.0 grams

Lanolin water, obtained by the following prescription:

Description:Ointment is light yellow in color.

Pharmacodynamics:

Has anabolic activity. It has immunostimulating, anti-inflammatory action. Normalizing the nucleic acid metabolism, accelerates the processes of cellular regeneration in wounds, accelerates the growth and granulation maturation of tissue and epithelization, stimulates cellular and humoral immunity factors.

With external application has photoprotective properties.

Indications:Wounds, burns, photodermatitis; trophic ulcers, bedsores, deep wounds. Methyluracil can be used prophylactically to prevent skin reactions during irradiation of tumors with low radiosensitivity, decrease in radio-epithelial and late contractions (occlusions) of the vagina - in the case of radiotherapy for neoplasms of the genitals.
Contraindications:Hypersensitivity, redundancy granulation in the wound.

Pregnancy and lactation:

The use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is possible only if the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby. If it is necessary to prescribe the drug during lactation, breastfeeding should be stopped.

Dosing and Administration:

Outwardly.

For the treatment of acute bullet dermatoses, burns, wounds and ulcers are applied topically, ointment is applied to the damaged areas in a thin layer in an amount of 5-20 g daily for 15-30 days. Pre-wound should be treated with solutions of antiseptics and remove the remains of necrotic tissues.

Ointment is used in loose tampons with radiation dermatitis and late radiation damage to the vagina.

There are no data on the use of the drug in children.
