    • Pharmacodynamics:Mycosidin is an antifungal agent that has a fungicidal effect against dermatophytes (Microsporum canis, Trichophyton gyrseum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Trichophyton rubrum) and yeast (Candida spp.). The preparation has antibacterial action against: Bacillus cereus, Fusobacterium nucleatum, Micrococcus spp., Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus pyogenes.
    Pharmacokinetics:Mycosidin after the application is moderately absorbed into the systemic circulation, reaching maximum concentrations after 4 hours. It is excreted in urine and feces during the first day.
    Indications:Skin diseases caused by drug-sensitive fungi Microsporum canis, Trichophyton gyrseum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Trichophyton rubrum and yeast fungi of the genus Candida spp.
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, severe liver and kidney disease, children under 18 years of age, pregnancy and lactation.
    Dosing and Administration:Outwardly. Ointment is applied to the affected areas of the skin with a thin layer, gently rubbing once a day in the evening.The maximum daily dose should not exceed 5 g of ointment. The duration of treatment before the resolution of clinical manifestations is from 2 to 8 weeks.
    Side effects:Possible local reactions in the form of burning, itching and redness of the skin. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue treatment.

    Special instructions:Avoid contact with the eyes.
