Pharmacological properties

Minisem - the original synthetic peptide drug, which is an analogue of a fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH4-10) (methionyl-glutamyl-histidyl-phenylalanyl-prolyl-glycyl-proline), completely devoid of hormonal activity. All amino acids are L-shaped.

Pharmacodynamics

Minisem influences the processes associated with the formation of memory and learning. Minisec intensifies selective attention while training and analyzing information, improves mnestic functions; improves adaptation of the body to hypoxia, cerebral ischemia, anesthesia and other damaging effects. In conditions of nervous and mental exhaustion Minisem facilitates concentration of attention, improves operator activity and mental efficiency.

Pharmacokinetics:Absorption from the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity 60-70%. Rapidly distributed into all organs and tissues, it penetrates the blood-brain barrier. Unchanged drug and / or its metabolites are not detected in daily urine.
Indications:Minisem, as a nootropic remedy, is used for the treatment of intellectual-mnestic disfigurements, with cerebral vascular lesions in children, with a delay in the psychomotor development of perinatal genesis in infants (from 3 months and older), in the treatment of neurotic and cognitive impairment in children of preschool and primary school age. Minisem is used to increase the adaptive capacity of the child's body.
Contraindications:
  • Individual intolerance to the drug;
  • acute psychotic conditions;
  • pregnancy;
  • the period of breastfeeding;
  • propensity to convulsions;
  • children up to 3 months (due to lack of data).
Dosing and Administration:

Minisem is used intranasally, using a vial of a dropper.

Carefully cut the tip of the pipette along the cut line - Fig. 1.

The cap should close the pipette tightly - Fig. 2.

Flip the bottle and, tapping lightly on the bottom. wait until the liquid has filled the entire pipette space - Fig. 3.

Remove cap and light pressure on the wide part of the pipette, squeeze the desired number of drops into the nasal passage of the mucous membrane - Fig. 4.

Droplets in the nose are buried in the child after cleansing the nasal passages. The child is put on his side and injected into the nostril, which is on top, one drop of medicine, gently massaging the nose in the interval between the administration of each drop - Fig.

Then the child is turned on the other side and the procedure is repeated.

Warning: do not touch the nasal mucosa with a pipette.

Store the drug in a bottle with a tightly closed cap as shown in Fig. 2.

Each drop of the standard solution contains 5 μg of active substance.

The solution of the drug is instilled with a pipette in an amount of not more than 3 drops (15 μg) per injection in each nasal passage 2-3 times a day at intervals of 3-4 hours.

A single dose is from 1 to 3 drops (5-15 μg) in a fractionally at an interval of 10-15 minutes until a therapeutic dose of 18 drops (90 μg) is reached.

The drug is prescribed daily for 3-5 days. The duration of the course use of the drug is 14 days.

If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated after 4 weeks.

Side effects:If hypersensitivity to the drug may appear irritation of the nasal mucosa, skin rash, sleep disturbance, increased excitability, irritability, increased blood pressure, allergic reactions.
Interaction:Application with intranasal preparations with local vasoconstrictive effect is undesirable.
Form release / dosage:Nasal drops 0.01%.
Packaging:To 3 ml in a vial, ukuporenny plastic lid-dropper. Each vial with instruction for use is packaged in a pack made of cardboard packaging.
Storage conditions:In the dark place at a temperature of no higher than +10 ° C. Do not freeze. Keep out of the reach of children.
Shelf life:1 year. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package.
