Description:

A non-uniform powder mixture of a brownish-gray color with white impregnations with the smell of anise oil. Caking is possible. The aqueous solution of the preparation (1:10) has a brown color.

Pharmacodynamics:

Combined drug, exacerbation (increases the secretion of bronchial glands, reduces the viscosity of sputum) and anti-inflammatory effect.

Indications:

The drug is used as an expectorant for diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by a cough (tracheitis, bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, etc.).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the drug components, acute glomerulonephritis, acute pyelonephritis, children's age (under 18 years).

Dosing and Administration:

The contents of 1 packet (single dose) dissolve in 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of cooled boiled water. Take 3-4 times a day after meals. The course of treatment is 10-14 days.

Side effects:

There may be allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea; can have irritating effect on the mucous membrane of the stomach.

Interaction:

The drug should not be used concomitantly with antitussive drugs, as this makes it difficult for the diluted sputum to escape.
