  • Pharmacodynamics:Ointment NAYATOKS® has a local irritating and analgesic (distracting) effect. Irritation of sensitive skin receptors and absorption of highly active substances (histamine, enzymes, organic acids, etc.) promote vasodilation, improve trophic tissue of underlying tissues and determine the analgesic effect of the drug.
    Indications:Ointment is applied externally with arthritis of various etiologies, osteochondrosis, neuralgia, myalgia, sciatica, radiculitis, ligamentous apparatus injuries (sprains, bruises without damaging the integrity of the skin) and other diseases of the musculoskeletal system accompanied by pain syndrome.
    Contraindications:Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug, skin diseases and mechanical damage to the skin in places of ointment application, thrombophlebitis, active pulmonary tuberculosis,fever, general exhaustion, severe liver and kidney dysfunction, cerebral and / or coronary circulation, angiospasm (including history), pregnancy and the period of breastfeeding, children under 6 years old.
    Carefully:Children's age, indications in an anamnesis for bronchial asthma, triggered by the intake of acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Ointment is applied to the skin of painful areas once a day from 5 to 10 g (1-2 teaspoons of ointment) in parts and rubbed into. skin, with severe pain - 2 times a day until the disappearance of the pain syndrome. The course of treatment should not exceed 10 days without consulting a doctor. After applying the ointment, you should thoroughly wash your hands to avoid getting the ointment in the eyes and other mucous membranes.

    Side effects:In rare cases, allergic reactions from the skin (redness, itching, rashes) are possible, disappearing after discontinuation of the drug! If any adverse reactions occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
    Interaction:The drug causes flushing of the skin and reflexively enhances blood circulation in the subcutaneous tissue, thus, joint application with other drugs of local action can lead to an increase in their absorption. The use of large amounts can increase the toxicity of methotrexate and reduce the therapeutic effect of hypoglycemic agents. Do not use with oral anticoagulants.
    Special instructions:It is not recommended to use the drug in childhood without consulting a doctor. Avoid contact with ointment on open wounds and mucous membranes. In case of careless ingress of ointment on the mucous membranes of the eyes, they must be washed with a copious amount of water.
