Stimulates the appearance of antibodies to Shigella sonnei, 2-3 weeks after the administration provides immunity to dysentery infection for 1 year.

Contraindications:

Acute infectious and non-infectious diseases, chronic diseases at the stage of exacerbation, remission or reconvalescence - within 1 month, individual intolerance.

Carefully:

History of hypersensitivity to the introduction of vaccines.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Recommendations for FDA - Category C. Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Dosing and Administration:

Intramuscularly in the upper third of the shoulder, 0.5 ml (50 μg) once. Revaccination according to indications - after one year.

The highest daily dose: 50 mcg.

The highest single dose: 50 mcg.

Side effects:

Local manifestations: hyperemia, tenderness at the injection site.

Common reactions: headache, rarely - hyperthermia.

Allergic reactions.

Overdose:

Cases of overdose not described.

Interaction:

Clinically significant interactions are not described.
