    Pharmacodynamics:Antibiotic from the group of rifamycins for topical application in otolaryngology. Has a bactericidal effect. The mechanism of action of rifamycin is associated with the formation of a stable complex with DNA-dependent RNA polymerase, which inhibits the growth of bacteria. It is active against the majority of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria that cause the development of infectious-inflammatory diseases of the middle ear.
    Indications:Acute otitis externa; exacerbation of chronic otitis media (including with persistent perforation of the tympanic membrane); condition after surgery in the middle ear.
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to rifamycin or other components of the drug.
    Pregnancy and lactation:Adequate and strictly controlled studies of the safety of the drug during pregnancy and lactation were not conducted. In pregnancy and lactation, use is possible if the potential benefit to the mother exceeds the possible risk to the fetus and the baby.
    Dosing and Administration:
    Adults: Bury in the ear 5 drops 3 times a day, or enter a gauze turunda with a preliminary applied to it in the external ear canal 2 times a day.
    The drug can be used to rinse the drum cavity through an attic cannula.
    For children: Bury in the ear 3 drops 3 times a day, or introduce a gauze turunda with a preliminary applied to it in the external ear canal 2 times a day.
    Duration of treatment - no more than 7 days.
    Side effects:Rarely - skin allergic reactions: urticaria, skin itching, small-skin rash.
    Overdose:Due to the low degree of absorption in the systemic blood flow, an overdose is unlikely.

    Special instructions:
    Before using ear drops, it is recommended to warm the bottle by holding it in your hand, in order to avoid unpleasant sensations,related to the ingress of cold fluid into the ear. Avoid contacts of the drug with clothes. the solution can leave stains on the fabric.
    Local reactions: pink color of the tympanic membrane (visible with otoscopy).
    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:There is no evidence of a negative effect of the drug on the ability to drive and other vehicles.

    Ear drops 2.6%.
    Packaging:For 10 ml in a bottle of dark glass with a rubber stopper and an aluminum lid. Each bottle, along with a pipette and instructions for use, is placed in a cardboard box.
    Storage conditions:Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C. Keep out of the reach of children.
