    Composition:

    1 suppository contains:

    Pharmacodynamics:

    The main active ingredient is hexose glycoside, consisting of glucose, rhamnose, arabinose, mannose, xylose, galactose, uronic acids

    The drug Panavir® is an antiviral and immunomodulating agent. Has antiviral action against herpes simplex virus type 1 and type 2.

    Increases nonspecific resistance of the organism to various infections and promotes the induction of interferons.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Pharmacokinetics of the drug has not been studied in connection with its chemical nature and small acting doses.

    Indications:

    Genital herpes in women (in complex therapy).

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, severe kidney and spleen diseases, pregnancy, lactation, age under 18 years.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Intravaginal.

    Vaginal suppositories are administered in the evening in the vagina, as deep as possible, in the supine position with slightly bent legs, daily for 5 days for 1 vaginal suppository.

    A second course of treatment is possible after consulting a doctor.

    Side effects:

    In rare cases, allergic reactions are possible.

    However, if there are any undesirable side effects, stop using the drug and consult a doctor.
