  • Pharmacodynamics:

    The drugs of thyme exert an expectorant effect, increase the amount of secretory mucosal secretions of the upper respiratory tract, contribute to the dilution of sputum and acceleration of its evacuation. Potassium bromide reduces the excitability of the central nervous system.

    Indications:

    As an expectorant for acute respiratory diseases: tracheitis, bronchitis, as well as in children with whooping cough.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, breast-feeding, cardiac decompensation.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside adults 1 tablespoon 3 times a day;

    children depending on the age from 1/2 teaspoon to 1 dessert spoon 3 times a day.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible. In case of an overdose of the drug - nausea.
