Pharmacodynamics:

An expectorant of plant origin. It consists of a mixture of herbs and flowers of the althea medicinal, in which polysaccharides are contained. Reflexively activates the ciliated epithelium, enhances secretion and accelerates bronchiolesis peristalsis.

Has softening, expectorant and anti-inflammatory effect.

Indications:

It is used for the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory diseases, in which it is difficult to withdraw sputum: tracheobronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchiectasis, pneumonia, emphysema.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Recommendations for FDA - Category B. It is used in pregnancy and lactation.

Dosing and Administration:

Inside, 50-100 mg before meals 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 7-14 days.

The highest daily dose: 100 mg.

The highest single dose: 400 mg.

Digestive system: nausea.
