    Pharmacodynamics:

    Carnitine - a natural substance, related to the vitamins of group B, is a carrier of fatty acids through cell membranes from the cytoplasm in the mitochondria, followed by the formation of ATP.

    Normalizes fat and protein metabolism. Increases the resistance of nerve cells to hypoxia, reduces the degree of lactic acidosis due to oppression of anaerobic glycolysis and the formation of keto acids. It has anabolic effect, increases the blood supply to the affected area and speeds up the reparative processes.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    3 hours after intravenous injection is completely removed from the blood.

    Free penetrates into the myocardium, liver, muscle tissue.

    The half-life is 17.4 hours.

    Elimination by the kidneys in the form of acyl ethers is more than 80% in 24 hours.

    Indications:

    It is used to treat ischemic stroke, discirculatory encephalopathy, toxic and traumatic brain lesions, transient cerebral circulation disorders. It is used in endocrinology with a delay in the growth of children under 16 and mild thyrotoxicosis.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Dosing and Administration:

    Intravenous drip, slowly - no more than 60 drops per minute: 1 g per day for 3 days, then 0.5 g per day for 7 days. Repeated courses are allowed after 10-12 days - 0.5 g per day for 3-5 days.

    The highest daily dose: 1 g.

    The highest single dose: 1 g.

    Side effects:

    Anabolic steroids increase the effectiveness of the drug.
