Pharmacodynamics:

Pharmacokinetics:

Indications:

It is used to treat tuberculosis of mucous membranes and serous membranes, with lymphadenitis, scrofuloderm, in the early stages of leprosy.

With the simultaneous use of isoniazid, streptomycin, PASK, the therapeutic effect of thiocetazone is enhanced.

Forms cross-sensitivity with protionamide and ethionamide.

It is not used to treat tuberculous meningitis. The combination with diaphenylsulfone in the treatment of leprosy is not recommended.
