Pharmacodynamics: The quinoline derivative interacts with bacterial enzymes, combining with the metals (cofactors) that make up the enzymes. The formed strong complexes irreversibly block the enzymatic system of microorganisms. As a result, the protein of the cell is denatured. It is active against Shigella, Salmonella, Escherichia, cholera vibrio, as well as fungi and protozoa: lamblia and amoeba. Suppresses the growth of opportunistic microflora without affecting saprophyte intestinal microflora.
Pharmacokinetics:After oral administration is not absorbed from the intestine and does not have a systemic effect.
Indications:It is used for the treatment of food toxic infections, salmonellosis, dysentery, infectious and inflammatory diseases of the vagina, dysbiosis.
