Pharmacodynamics:

The quinoline derivative interacts with bacterial enzymes, combining with the metals (cofactors) that make up the enzymes. The formed strong complexes irreversibly block the enzymatic system of microorganisms. As a result, the protein of the cell is denatured. It is active against Shigella, Salmonella, Escherichia, cholera vibrio, as well as fungi and protozoa: lamblia and amoeba. Suppresses the growth of opportunistic microflora without affecting saprophyte intestinal microflora.

Pharmacokinetics:

After oral administration is not absorbed from the intestine and does not have a systemic effect.

Indications:

It is used for the treatment of food toxic infections, salmonellosis, dysentery, infectious and inflammatory diseases of the vagina, dysbiosis.

Contraindications:

Renal and hepatic insufficiency, peripheral neuropathy,diseases of the optic nerve, individual intolerance, children under 3 years old.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Dosing and Administration:

Adults

The highest single dose: 600 mg.
