Pharmacodynamics:Dose-dependent competitive inhibitor of gonadotrophic cells of adenohypophysis. It binds to the membrane receptors of the pituitary cells, reducing the release of follicle-stimulating and lutein hormones, thereby preventing unwanted premature ovulation (immature ovum) during hormonal infertility treatment.
Pharmacokinetics:After subcutaneous administration, the maximum concentration in the blood plasma is reached after 1-2 hours. Bioavailability is 86%. The connection with plasma proteins is 86%.
It is cleaved by plasma peptides.
The half-life period has a dose-dependent character and ranges from 2.4 h to 108 h. Elimination by the kidneys.
Indications:It is used to prevent premature ovulation in patients undergoing ancillary reproductive measures.
