    Pharmacodynamics:

    Dose-dependent competitive inhibitor of gonadotrophic cells of adenohypophysis. It binds to the membrane receptors of the pituitary cells, reducing the release of follicle-stimulating and lutein hormones, thereby preventing unwanted premature ovulation (immature ovum) during hormonal infertility treatment.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    After subcutaneous administration, the maximum concentration in the blood plasma is reached after 1-2 hours. Bioavailability is 86%. The connection with plasma proteins is 86%.

    It is cleaved by plasma peptides.

    The half-life period has a dose-dependent character and ranges from 2.4 h to 108 h. Elimination by the kidneys.

    Indications:

    It is used to prevent premature ovulation in patients undergoing ancillary reproductive measures.

    Contraindications:

    Renal and hepatic insufficiency, postmenopause, individual intolerance, children under 18 years of age.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Recommendations for FDA - Category X. Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Subcutaneously, in the lower part of the abdominal wall to 0.25 mg once a day in the morning or evening, 3 mg once - during the transition from the early to the middle follicular phase.

    The highest daily dose: 3 mg.

    The highest single dose: 3 mg.

    Side effects:

    Central and peripheral nervous system: headache.

    Respiratory system: cough.

    The cardiovascular system: arterial hypotension.

    Digestive system: nausea.

    Dermatological reactions: rarely - severe itching.

    Allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose are not described.

    Treatment is symptomatic.
