    Pharmacodynamics:

    Means of plant origin. It has astringent, anti-inflammatory, hypoglycemic, antiseptic, hemostatic and bactericidal action.

    Contains fruit acids (including quinine, malic and citric acids), tannins (mainly catechins, including oligomeric procyanidins), anthocyanoids (main components - delfinidine-3-O-arabinoside, delfinidine-3-O-galactoside, delphinidin-3-O glucoside, cyanidin, petunidin, peonidine, malvidin), flavonoids (including hyperoside, isoquercitin, quercitrin, astragaline), iridoids (including asperuloside, onropine), caffeic acid and its derivatives (including chlorogenic acid), pectins.

    Anthocyanosides promote the regeneration of the photosensitive pigment of the retina - rhodopsin and thus improve the sensitivity of the retina to various levels of light radiation and enhance visual acuity in low light.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Anthocyanosides injected into rabbits intravenously or intraperitoneally rapidly spread in the tissues and are excreted in bile and urine in a 3-phase pharmacokinetic type.

    Indications:

    In the complex therapy of diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy.

    Myopia of medium and high degree, acquired hemorrhalopia, diabetic retinopathy, disturbance of the mechanisms of vision adaptation to darkness, both at night and twilight vision, muscular asthenopia, central atherosclerotic chorioretinal degeneration of the Kunt-Junius type retina, taperotoretinal retina abiotrophy (retinal pigmentary degeneration).

    As an astringent, anti-inflammatory, restorative means; as an additional source of vitamins, minerals and bioflavonoids; for prevention and at the first signs of eye diseases, as well as with high loads on the visual apparatus.

    Acute and chronic diseases of the digestive tract: gastritis, enterocolitis accompanied by diarrhea.

    Contraindications:

    Constipation, nephrolithiasis, oxalaturia, hypersensitivity to blueberry. Syrup is not recommended for patients with diabetes mellitus.

    Carefully:

    Efficacy and safety of use in children have not been studied.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Category of recommendations for FDA is not defined. Adequate and well-controlled clinical studies of safety and efficacy of the drug during pregnancy and lactation were not conducted. PChange the drug only if the expected benefit exceeds the potential risk.

    Dosing and Administration:

    The drug is taken orally, with food or after eating.

    Tablets (capsules). Adults and children over 12 years 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day with meals.

    Syrup. Adults and children over 12 years of age on 1 dessert spoon 2-3 times a day. Shake before use.

    The effect develops within the first three weeks after the onset of admission. With a regular intake of the drug, its beneficial effect is enhanced. The course of admission 30 - 60 days. With a preventive purpose, you can take a two-month course twice a year, in other cases - according to the indications.

    Side effects:

    Possible: constipation, oxalaturia.

    In some cases: allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    To date, no cases of drug overdose have been reported. Treatment is symptomatic.

    Interaction:

    Bilberry extract together with anticoagulants (heparin sodium, warfarin) increases the action of anticoagulants, it is necessary to be careful when sharing.

    Antiplatelet agents increase the antiaggregant effect of blueberries, caution should be exercised when sharing.

    Bilberry extract together with acetyl salicylic acid and other NSAID increases NSAID effects enhances the anticoagulant effect of aspirin must be careful when coadministered.

    Insulin soluble, oral hypoglycemic preparations together with blueberries strengthen the effect of hypoglycemia, caution should be exercised when joint admission, continuous monitoring is required when taking insulin soluble.

    Extract of blueberry prevents absorption of iron, so it can not be used in conjunction with iron preparations.

    Special instructions:
