Pharmacodynamics:

Benzethonium chloride has a bactericidal effect against gram-positive and some gram-negative microorganisms, is active against yeasts and a number of fungi, as well as some extracellularly distributed viruses.

Pharmacokinetics:

Not studied. The drug is poorly absorbed when applied externally.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, Felling's disease (phenylketonuria), if the drug contains a honey-lemon additive.

Carefully:

Use with caution in pregnancy and lactation, children's age.

Pregnancy and lactation:

It is possible to use the drug as a solution, spray 0.255 mg / dose during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding).

Dosing and Administration:

One tablet every 1-2 hours; keep in the mouth until absorbed

Side effects:

Local reactions: dry mouth, numbness, burning in the mouth.

Allergic reactions: skin rash.

Other: very rarely - laryngospasm.

Overdose:

At present, no cases of drug overdose have been reported. Treatment is symptomatic.

Interaction:

No clinically significant drug interaction with other drugs. Do not use simultaneously with other external means.

Special instructions:

It is not recommended to apply for rinsing the mouth in children under 12 years of age.

When infectious and inflammatory diseases are used as part of combination therapy.
