Pharmacodynamics:Vaseline is a substance with dermatoprotective effect.
Pharmacokinetics:Favorably affects open wounds, cuts and other skin lesions.
Vaseline is not absorbed when applied externally, it speeds up the healing of the wound.
Indications:Protection of the wound surface with open wounds of the skin, softening of the skin, facilitating the conduct of medical procedures (before setting the cans, for introducing an enema tip or a gas outlet tube into the rectum); against frostbite of skin in the cold.

Contraindications:Hypersensitivity; allergic reactions.
Carefully:Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
Pregnancy and lactation:Adequate and well-controlled studies on humans and animals have not been conducted.
Vaseline is not absorbed into the systemic circulation. Before use, consult a specialist.
Dosing and Administration:Apply by lubricating the affected skin, on the previously cleaned and dry skin.
Side effects:Rarely can occur - irritation in the place of application, allergic reaction (contact dermatitis), acne.
Overdose:Not described. There are no data on Vaseline overdose.
Interaction:Vaseline is a little active substance and does not interact with other external agents.
