    Pharmacodynamics:

    The derivative of 19-nortestosterone, inhibits the release of luteotropic and follicle-stimulating hormone, preserving their basal secretion. Competitively inhibits progesterone and androgen receptors, displacing testosterone, associated with globulin. As a result, the level of free testosterone rises. It has an androgenic and antiprogestronic action, which suppresses proliferation and causes atrophy of the endometrium and ectopic foci of endometriosis.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    After ingestion with food completely absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. The maximum concentration in the blood plasma is achieved after 3 hours.

    Metabolism in the liver.

    The half-life is 24 hours. Elimination by the kidneys and with feces.

    Indications:

    It is used for the treatment of genital and extragenital endometriosis.
