    Pharmacodynamics:

    Means for topical application in ophthalmology. Hypromellose is a protector of the corneal epithelium, has a lubricating and softening effect, has a high viscosity, which increases the duration of contact of the solution with the cornea. The refractive index of the solution is similar to natural tears. Promotes restoration, stability and reproduction of the optical characteristics of the tear film.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Indications:

    Insufficient lacrimation, lagophthalmus, eyelid deformation, condition after plastic operations on the eyelids, condition after thermal and chemical burns of the cornea and conjunctiva, after removal of foreign bodies and toxic substances from the eye; "dry" keratoconjunctivitis (syndrome and Sjogren's disease); eye irritation caused by smoke, dust, cold, wind, sun, salt water, with allergies, and when using contact lenses.For disinfection of tear fluid.

    Hypersensitivity to hypromellosis.

    Carefully:

    Apply only in the intervals between wearing contact lenses.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Not contraindicated in pregnancy.

    Not contraindicated during breastfeeding.

    Dosing and Administration:

    The drug is instilled in the eye for 1-2 drops 4-8 times a day, if necessary, you can apply every hour. The course of treatment is at least 2-3 weeks.

    Side effects:

    In some cases: local allergic reactions.

    Interaction:

    Do not use simultaneously with eye drops containing heavy metal salts.

    Special instructions:

    Do not exceed the therapeutic dose, do not apply for a long time.

    It is not recommended to use drops in the acute stage of a chemical burn of the cornea and conjunctiva until the toxic substance is completely removed.

    Apply only in the intervals between wearing contact lenses.
