    Pharmacodynamics:The derivative of nortestosterone with antiandrogenic properties, ensures the maturation of endometrial cells, stopping the stimulation of their growth by estradiol. Suppresses the activity of foci of eutopic and ectopic endometrium, reducing the production of estrogens in the ovaries and their concentration in the blood plasma. It has an anti-angiogenic effect, which affects the proliferation of cells. With prolonged use leads to atrophy of endometriotic foci.
    Pharmacokinetics:

    After ingestion, up to 90% is absorbed. The maximum concentration in the blood plasma is reached after 1 hour. It binds to plasma proteins by 90%. Metabolised in the liver.

    The half-life is 11 hours. Elimination by the kidneys in the form of metabolites.

    Indications:

    It is used for the treatment of adenomyosis and extragenital endometriosis.

    Contraindications:

    Tumors of the mammary glands, endometrial and ovarian cancer, acute diseases and liver tumors, intracranial hypertension (including history), thrombophlebitis and thromboembolism in history, undiagnosed bleeding from genital organs and urinary tract, diabetes mellitus complicated by angiopathy,ischemic heart disease, pregnancy and lactation, age under 18, individual intolerance.

    Carefully:

    Diseases of the liver and bile ducts, Crohn's disease, jaundice, including history, multiple sclerosis, hypertension, epilepsy, tuberculosis, varicose veins, mastopathy.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Recommendations for FDA - Category C. During pregnancy and during lactation is contraindicated.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside, 1 tablet once a day for 6 months.

    The highest daily dose: 2 tablets (in case of admission).

    The highest single dose: 1 tablet (2 mg).

    Side effects:

    Central and peripheral nervous system: headache, emotional lability, attention disturbance, irritability, anxiety, fatigue.

    The cardiovascular system: arterial hypotension, peripheral edema (including edema of the face).

    Digestive system: nausea, vomiting, flatulence.

    Reproductive system: candida colpitis, atrophic vulvovaginitis, stress and enlargement of the mammary glands, changes in libido.

    Sense organs: noises in the ears, intolerance of contact lenses due to dryness of the conjunctiva.

    Musculoskeletal system: tetany, ossalgy.

    urinary system: urinary tract infection, cystitis.

    Dermatological manifestations: hyperhidrosis, dandruff, hypertrichosis, itching, rarely - photodermatitis.

    Allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose are not described.

    Treatment is symptomatic.

    Interaction:

    Clinically significant interactions are not described.

    Special instructions:

    Before starting treatment, pregnancy should be excluded.
