АТХ:

N.04.A.C   Tropin Esters or Tropical Derivatives

Pharmacodynamics:
The drug has anti-Parkinsonian, antispasmodic effect.
The peripheral action is due to the blockade of predominantly m-holinoretseptorov membranes of effector cells located in the region of the endings of postganglionic cholinergic (parasympathetic) fibers, which prevents the interaction with them of the mediator acetylcholine: relaxes smooth muscles, decreases secretion, dilates the pupil, and increases the heart rate. Antiparkinsonian activity is manifested by inhibition of central m-cholinergic structures and suppression of stimulating cholinergic effect on basal ganglia. Stronger inhibits central cholinoreactive systems and to a lesser extent affects peripheral cholinergic receptors. It also has ganglion-blocking and antispasmodic properties. Acting on the central cholinergic system, reduces motor impairment associated with the lesion of the extrapyramidal system.
Pharmacokinetics:There is no data on the pharmacokinetics of the drug.
Indications:Parkinson's disease, parkinsonism, extrapyramidal disorders (spastic paralysis, rigidity, hyperkinesis, Little disease), spasm of smooth muscles of internal organs, spastic constipation, peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum, bronchial asthma, bradycardia caused by increased vagal tone, threat of premature birth, intoxication with organophosphorus compounds.
