Pharmacodynamics:

The pharmacological action is anthelmintic. The pyrvinium embonate is active against Enterobius vermicularis. The mechanism of action is associated with the blockade of helminth enzyme systems. Highly effective at a single admission.

Dosing and Administration:

Establish in view of the age and body weight of the patient. When enterobiosis, children 3 months (5 kg or more) - 2.5 ml (15 mg / ml) of suspension, 1-2 years (10 kg and more) - 5 ml, 3-4 years (15 kg and more) - 7.5 ml, 5-6 years (20 kg and more) - 10 ml, 7-8 years (25 kg and more) - 12.5 ml, 9-10 years (30 kg and more) - 15 ml, 11-12 years (35 kg and more) - 17.5 ml, 13-14 years (40 kg and more) - 20 ml, 14-15 years (50 kg and more) - 25 ml. Adults with a body weight of more than 80 kg - no more than 400 mg or 40 ml of suspension.

Is taken orally once in a dose of 5 mg / kg 2-3 hours after eating (or immediately after a light breakfast), washed down with water, tea or fruit juice. Before use should be shaken.

If necessary, the reception can be repeated after 2 weeks.

Side effects:

Rarely: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, allergic reactions (in particular, skin rash), photodermatosis.
