    Composition:Hbut 1 sachet:

    Description:

    White or slightly yellowish powder with a weak specific odor. Hygroscopic.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Povidone binds toxins that enter the gastrointestinal tract and form in the body, and removes them through the intestines.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Povidone is not absorbed, is not metabolized, is excreted through the gastrointestinal tract.

    Indications:

    Application as a means of detoxification in toxic forms of acute infectious gastrointestinal diseases (dysentery, salmonellosis, food poisoning), with hepatic and renal insufficiency.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug (povidone).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    There is insufficient experience in the use of the drug Povidone during pregnancy and during breastfeeding. Possible use of the drug Povidone during the period

    pregnancy and breastfeeding as prescribed by the doctor in cases where the expected benefit to the mother exceeds the possible risk of complications.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside, 1-2 hours after eating or taking medicines. The drug is diluted at the rate of 2.5 g of powder (1 sachet) per 50 ml of cold boiled water. To improve the taste sensations, sugar or fruit juices can be added to the solution.

    Adults 100 ml of the prepared solution (2 sachets) 1-3 times a day for 2-7 days (until the symptoms of intoxication disappear).

    Daily reception for children:

    from 1 to 3 years - 50 ml of solution (1 sachet) 2 times;

    from 4 to 6 years - 50 ml of solution (1 sachet) 3 times;

    from 7 years to 10 years - 100 ml of solution (2 sachets) 2 times;

    from 11 to 14 years old - 100 ml of solution (2 sachets) 3 times.

    Side effects:

    Quickly passing vomiting and nausea (are not grounds for drug withdrawal).

    It is possible to develop allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    In case of an overdose, the side effects of the drug are increased.

    Interaction:

    Application of the drug Povidone together with other drugs prescribed inwards, can dramatically slow down and / or reduce the extent of their absorption from the gastrointestinal tract.

    Special instructions:

    The prepared solution should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 4 ° C for not more than three days.
