  • Pharmacodynamics:Combined preparation of plant origin, the effect of which is due to the properties of its constituent components. Has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and also expectorant action.
    Indications:It is used in children aged 6 months to 3 years in the complex therapy of inflammatory and infectious-inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract accompanied by cough: acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, tracheobronchitis, tracheitis, acute respiratory infections, cold.
    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug.

    Epileptic syndrome (in the anamnesis).

    Children up to 6 months.

    Damage to the skin, the presence of skin diseases in areas of suspected ointment application.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Not applicable (the drug is not intended for use in this group of patients).

    Dosing and Administration:

    Outwardly.

    Ointment Pulmeks® baby is used in children aged 6 months to 3 years. A small amount of ointment should be applied 2 times a day to the upper and middle parts of the chest and back. Slightly rub until completely absorbed and cover with a warm, dry cloth.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    In case of occurrence of the undesirable phenomena which have been not mentioned in the instruction, it is necessary to inform about it to the attending physician.

    Overdose:

    Overdose Symptoms (with the occasional intake of the drug inside) due to the presence of eucalyptus oil in the formulation: nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, headache, severe dizziness, redness of the face, difficulty breathing, delirium, convulsions, central nervous system depression, coma.

    Treatment: gastric lavage, Activated carbon, salt laxatives.

    Emergency hospital care: with convulsions - intravenous slow administration of diazepam or the use of short-acting barbiturates.

    Interaction:

    Clinically significant interactions with other drugs have not been identified.

    Special instructions:

    Ointment can not be applied to mucous membranes (in particular, nose and mouth), burns and damaged skin. If the product gets into eyes or mucous membranes, rinse with cold water.

    Do not take internally!

    The drug is intended for external use only!

    Ointment does not leave greasy marks and stains on clothing.

    Pulmex® baby's ointment does not irritate healthy skin.
